Like many parents these days, when I started a family I was already an experienced traveler and didn’t want to stop taking great trips when children came along. But I did realize that our trips would take on a different tone. They would need to be fun and relaxing for everyone - which usually means a break for the parents!

I love to travel. I also love to plan other people’s perfect vacation. Everyone is going to be looking for their own unique blend of what makes a vacation enjoyable for them - adventure, spas, exploring, relaxing, shopping, activities, dining, scuba, beachcombing, pools, golf - they are all part of it! The question is how to allow parents to enjoy their passions while the children are having an equally good time in their own activities. It is also important to have time to enjoy the vacation experience as a family. My best memories we have done on our own family travel adventures.

I have made it my business to know the ins and outs of destiantions that cater to families and appeal to children and adults. My main areas of speciality are condos and resorts in hawaii and Mexico, Caribbean family resorts, Disney vacations and cruise lines that are family-friendly.

I have worked for twelve years in the travel industry and 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of Family Travel! I am a Certified Hawaii Specialist, Mexico Specialist, Club Med Specialist and graduate of Disney College of Knowledge.

We are located in San Carlos, California, so most of my experience and knowledge is geared toward the destinations popular from the West Coast. Many families enjoy the convenience of the short and direct flights to the Hawaiian Islands, Cabo san Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Disneyland, San Diego, Mexican Riviera cruises and Alaska cruises. For the more adventurous, other favorite destinations I enjoy sending families are trips to Fiji, Tahiti, Australia and New Zealand, and the Caribbean Islands.
